On Ice Training

The key component to the technical development of goaltenders. Through great focus and will-power, goaltenders will develop their skills and eliminate their weaknesses, becoming the most efficient goaltender they can be.

OFF ICE TRAINING

Time and again looked at as a secondary aspect to goaltending, off ice training as been proven to be a key component to the development of an elite goaltender. Through a combination of techniques goaltenders will increase their power, strength, speed, balance, flexibility. and agility.

IN THE KITCHEN

Often young athletes forget that performance begins in the kitchen. Without fueling their body properly, muscles will not rebuild and recovery quickly and efficiently. Remember muscles are made in the kitchen!

WEEKLY FOCUS

ATTENTION TO DETAIL: We expect you all to pay attention to many little details throughout practice. This in return is going to make you a stronger and more consistent goaltender. It is not just good enough to go through the motions and play the drills as if you know what the end result is going to be. This is cheating! Think about the drill and know what you are expected to do from Point A to Point B and possibly Point C and beyond. To take this a step further, think about a live game scenario that you could apply this learned technique to.
